why Modric should leave spurs
If you noticed his assist rate has been for a CM/CAM low this season and last season, I know this season hasn't finished. This is because Spurs don't have a clinical finished. I am not saying Adebayor and Defoe are crap but they will both score 2/10 chances in one game. In my opinion Van Der Vaart is their best finisher but he is a midfielder and of course hasn't got a strikers natrual movement. Also Spurs don't suit him and if he does stay he will go a season without champions league even though he deserves better . He would be better of with a team with champions league and a much more fluent and passing gameplay.

Is it really fair on smaller clubs when they develop a young star, he does well and blows across Europe for some big team to come and poach them. What if the smaller clubs keep the youngsters and become a big club through them and have a taste of glory, after all most of the big clubs that poach youngsters are capable of growing their own talent. most of the time the young players cant resist the big clubs, but if they came from a big clubs youth and became global there is less chance if the leaving but if they came from a smaller clubs youth team they would probably leave before they are 21.
